When and where is THE PLOT 2017?

THE PLOT will be held on Saturday 18th of November in Parramatta Park, Corner Macquarie & Pitt Streets, Parramatta. Pedestrian Access (to venue) is via O’Connell Street entrance, Parramatta NSW.

Can I go to THE PLOT?

THE PLOT is an all ages event, catering to everyone. Our crowds can get large and excited so we do advise that patrons under the age of 16 are accompanied by a responsible adult and that the patron checks with their parent or guardian before purchasing a ticket.

How do I buy my tickets?

If you want to attend THE PLOT you’ll require a ticket.

Tickets are $79 including booking fee, and you can purchase a maximum of FOUR (4) tickets per transaction.

You can buy these tickets online through moshtix. Once the event is sold out there will be no more tickets available.

We don’t recommend purchasing tickets through any unofficial channels such as e-Bay, Gumtree or Viagogo and cannot guarantee a patron entry into the event with a ticket purchased via one of these channels.

If I lose my ticket how can I get a replacement?

If you have purchased your ticket online from the moshtix website you will have been emailed a PDF copy of your ticket after purchase. If you have lost this email or accidentally deleted it, you can access it by logging into the moshtix account you purchased it through.

When does THE PLOT start and finish?

Gates open at 1.00pm with the first bands taking to the stage around 1:30pm and the last band finishing around 10:30pm.

Why is THE PLOT in Parramatta?

We’re glad you asked! THE PLOT is all about discovery, from our fresh new artists, to our local and exciting food and beverage providers - even our rad activations! Being less than a 30-minute train ride from the city, Parramatta is bursting with life and ready to be explored.

How do I get there?

Depending on where you’re coming from, you can get to Parramatta in any number of ways. Bus, train and ferry all offer regular services to and from Parramatta and drop you within walking distance of the park. For more detailed info, have a look at our Getting There section.

What can I bring to THE PLOT and what should I leave at home?

We encourage you to bring along your sealed or empty water bottle to keep hydrated; but no alcohol, soft drink, juice, flavored water or sports waters are permitted.

You’re welcome to bring your own food to enjoy at the event (in non-commercial quantities) but knives, eskies, picnic baskets, glass containers, folding chairs and similar bulky items will not be allowed into the event.

If you need to bring prescription or over the counter medication with you, you will need to ensure it’s clearly labeled and in original packaging. Our security may ask THE PLOT’s medical team to check your medication upon arrival.

We do not encourage bringing valuables to THE PLOT, but should you need to bring anything you don’t want to keep with you all day you will have the opportunity to cloak it in our cloakroom.

There won’t be any ATMs on site, and while most of our food and beverage suppliers will have eftpos facilities, we still recommend you bring cash with you on the day.

PRO TIP: Just a hop, skip and jump from Parramatta Park you’ll find a number of ATM’s at the George Street and Church Street intersection.

Bringing your phone along to take some killer selfies and capture the good vibes is totally welcome/encouraged (as long as you use #ThePlotAU); provided all use of these devices respects the privacy and wishes of all other patrons, artists and service providers. Professional still cameras (such as an SLR), professional video cameras (including go-pros) and sound recording equipment will not be permitted into the event without written authority from the Promoters.

Will there be food and drinks available for purchase?

THE PLOT is very excited to be bringing you some of the best eats that Greater Western Sydney and beyond have to offer, giving you plenty of substance to get through the day. Festival favourites will all still be there as well as a whole range of unique new flavours for you to enjoy. We’re good like that.

A great selection of alcoholic beverages will be available for our over 18 patrons, and a valid photo ID / valid wristband will be need to be presented to purchase these.

Will there be merchandise for sale?

Yes! Bands and artists will be selling their merchandise on day and there will also be an exclusive range of THE PLOT goodies available for purchase.

Do I need to bring my ID?

If you’re UNDER 18 and you purchased your ticket/s from moshtix you just need to bring one of the below as proof you are the ticket holder:

  • ATM card
  • School card
  • Library card
  • Bus pass
  • Or some other form of ID that has your full name on it.

If you purchased a hard ticket – you don’t need to worry about ID as the ticket doesn’t have your name on it.

If you’re OVER 18
If you purchased a ticket to THE PLOT and you’re over 18 and you would like to access the bar YOU NEED TO BRING VALID PHOTO ID.

Valid photo ID includes one of the following:
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • Current Passport
  • Current NSW Issued Proof of Age Card

We advise against bringing any original documents such as your birth certificate.

Our volunteers and team members come to us through a number of partnerships with some great local organisations, but we’re always happy to hear from people who want to get involved! All enquiries regarding work or volunteer positions should come though to theplot@cattleyard.com.
